§ 01Manufacturer, not intermediary
Ostenmark was incorporated in 2004 as a single leather workshop in Rotterdam. The operating premise has not changed since: the party a brand contracts with should be the party that runs the line, because that is the only party that can be held to a specification.
Twenty years on the group operates four production sites and two commercial offices, employing 1,960 people directly. Where a programme falls outside our own capability, we appoint and manage a third-party vendor under our contract and our quality protocol — we do not introduce clients to suppliers and step back from the liability.
The company is privately held by its founder and management. It carries no external investment mandate, which is why capacity decisions are made against programme commitments rather than against a growth target.

Accountability
We hold the liability we ask clients to rely on. No undisclosed subcontracting, and no deflection when a lot fails.
Schedule integrity
Capacity is committed against a named line before a date is confirmed. 97.8% of shipments departed on or before the confirmed ETD in the last twelve months.
Jurisdictional fluency
Customs, conformity marking and chemical regulation differ by market. We administer those obligations rather than passing them back to the client.
Verified responsibility
LWG Gold tanneries, OEKO-TEX and GOTS certified textiles, and audited labour standards — evidenced by certificate, not by claim.
